Mike Geelhoed is currently Assistant Professor in the school of physical therapy at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Texas. Prior to accepting his position at UTHSCSA; Mike was employed at HealthSouth Rehabilitation in San Antonio, TExas from 1998-2003. He began as a staff therapist then moving to Site Coordinator and finally being named Clinical Coordinator in 2002. Currently Mike teaches Kinesiology, Orthopedics I and II as well as Orthopedic Case Studies. Mike received his Certification in Manual Therapy (MTC) from the University of St. Augustine in 2002 and his Board of Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2003. He completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy through the University of St. Augustine in December 2004.
